Caring for Our Community

Glades Health Care Center is part of the Not for Profit Okeechobee Council on Aging, Inc., a provider of Skilled Nursing Services and Long-term Care. Our Health Care Center has been serving the Palm Beach County community since 1974. We are dedicated to delivering quality individual service to every person entrusted to our care. Our 120 bed facility located in Pahokee, Florida on the shores of Lake Okeechobee, provides nursing and rehabilitation therapy to patients of all ages who need long-term care.

Our Healthcare Services Include:

	Inpatient rehabilitation including physical, occupational and speech therapy.
	IV therapy and wound care.
	Care for those diagnosed with Huntington’s disease.
	Alzheimer’s program.
	Special rehabilitation for those challenged by amputation, arthritis, orthopedic complications and stroke.
	HIV specialized care.

Residents enjoy a variety of opportunities for:

	Recreation and socializing.
	Transportation.
	On-site Beauty and Barber Shop.
	Access to religious services for people of all faiths.

We accept Medicare, Medicaid, Workers Compensation, VA and most managed care plans and private insurance.
