At Gainesville Health Care Center and Glades Health Care Center, we also help people of all ages recover from surgery, injury and serious illness. A patient who once might have spent an extended period of time in an acute care hospital can come to us for skilled nursing care or rehabilitation therapy.

Moving Forward

Family members and friends play an important role in helping residents attain independence. Families are encouraged to participate in our community through family councils, recreational activities, day trips and volunteer opportunities. When a resident is ready to leave our facility, we help plan a safe transition and identify valuable resources to make the homecoming easier.
